Our Roots
For nearly a decade the team has operated as the not-for-profit Onaya Science, a group of dedicated multidisciplinary researchers. The team has a wealth of experience exploring the effects of psychedelic plant medicines on mental health and wellbeing, predominantly in the ceremonial use of ayahuasca in the Amazon rainforest.

Onaya provides a bespoke research package, where we will manage the entire research process, from study design, to data collection and publication in peer-reviewed journals, all according to your specific research aims. For established retreat centers, people with clinics, or individuals looking to provide funding to research a particular area of interest.
